The genesis of BeComing goes back three years when Ruth Holmgren accepted the position of Manager for External Affairs, a medical spa and salon in Edmonton, Canada, one of the first medical spas in Western Canada.
There, she merged together her years of experience in high-end retail fashion with her personal desire to help people feel good about themselves. As well, she was able to put into action her unrelenting dedication to high standards of customer service and to growing the skills and abilities of employees.
When Ruth moved to the Tampa Bay area with her husband, Mark Holmgren (co-owner of BeComing) in 2006, she immediately set to work to open her own Spa.
Through her market research she realized that a mobile day spa made sense for busy women and men and that such an innovative spa concept had much to offer corporate customers as well.
To add to her management experience, she enrolled at Artistic Nails and Beauty Academy to gain accreditation in Advance Skin and Nail Care.
In addition to gaining accreditation and researching the potential of opening her own Spa locally, Ruth has recruited seasoned professionals to her team to ensure that when the doors open, her staff will contribute to the success of BeComing by bringing a range of quality services to our customers.
The BeComing Advantage
We are the only true mobile day spa in the Tampa Bay area. There are a few spas that offer in-home services, but none to date that can bring a Spa on Wheels to your home, workplace, or special event.
